The first two areas of interest which have given me better understanding of the world around me are Sacred Geometry and Fractal Geometry. Sacred geometry is an ancient discipline and was used by cultures thousands of years ago whereas fractal geometry is a modern field only born in the 1970’s. My firm belief is that both these fields merge, when it comes to understanding the world around you and the universe we live in.
A fractal is a never-ending pattern. Fractals are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales. They are created by repeating a simple process over and over in an ongoing feedback loop. Driven by recursion, fractals are images of dynamic systems. My belief is that fractals are a part of sacred geometry and fractal structure appears to be the language of the of nature, the universe and even multiverses. Sacred Geometry is the geometry of the natural world. It is shapes which occur in nature, fractals, reoccurring patterns, and ratios it is also known as the geometry of consciousness. It revolves around the idea that all consciousness, including human, is solely based on sacred geometry, as we practice it on an individual level we begin to see, understand and realise where we have come from, where we are now, and where we are going.
The next area of interest is that of the bio-energy, energy that exists throughout the whole universe including humans, animals and plants. In the east it is known as Chi, Prana and Ki in the West it it only now being recognised and is known as the life force. Qi Gong (energy works) is the ancient Chinese art of becoming aware of this energy and being able to direct and manipulate it at will in order to heal the body. Qi gong can be viewed as an ancient healthcare system, it works on the same system of meridians and channels which traditional Chinese medicine is based upon, ie acupuncture, acupressure etc. Qi gong is also known to be the root of all martial arts. I started practicing Qi gong around 5 years ago by myself, however 3 years ago I came across Master Jim Bacon a master in Qi Gong, Shamanism and a 13th Dan martial artist whom I currently am a student of.
